The Crisis & Our Mission

The world is facing a crisis of trust in information. Traditional media depend on owners, advertisers, and political interests. Social networks spread information instantly but cannot guarantee its origin, authenticity, or authorship. The rise of AI has created new opportunities for content creation, while simultaneously spawning the threat of mass synthetic materials and disinformation.

Our Mandate

To create a global system of trust in information based on transparency, cryptographic proof of content origin, professional ethics, and decentralized governance. Every photo, video, article, investigation, interview, and witness account must have a verifiable origin, creation history, and a transparent reputational assessment of the author.

Core Principles

Independence

Not owned by states, political parties, corporations, or media holdings.

Transparency

The publication history of materials is open and verifiable.

Verifiability

Every piece of content has a cryptographic proof of origin.

Responsibility

Every participant is responsible for the authenticity of published materials.

Decentralization

Governed entirely through a DAO.

Tech Neutrality

The network does not restrict new technologies, including AI.

Categories of Participants

Journalists

Reporters and news writers.

Investigators

Investigative journalists and OSINT specialists.

Creators

Bloggers, podcasters, streamers, and opinion leaders.

Visual Contributors

Photographers, camera operators, and documentarians.

Analysts

Data analysts and fact-checkers.

AI Creators

Content creators utilizing Artificial Intelligence.

Immutable Proof

Each material undergoes a deposition procedure. The process includes creating a digital fingerprint, timestamping, author fixation, recording to the blockchain as an NFM (Non-Fungible Mark), and saving the original in decentralized storage. After registration, the record becomes immutable. Licenses (Exclusive, Editorial, Commercial) are executed via smart contracts.

Global Information Trust Network (GITN)

A Decentralized Global Network for Trusted Information

Version 0.1

The world is facing a growing crisis of trust in information.

Traditional media organizations are often influenced by owners, advertisers, and political interests.

Social media platforms enable information to spread instantly, yet they cannot reliably guarantee origin, authenticity, or authorship.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence has created unprecedented opportunities for content creation while simultaneously increasing the risks of synthetic media, misinformation, and large-scale manipulation.

The Global Information Trust Network (GITN) is being established as an independent decentralized infrastructure for registering, verifying, licensing, and monetizing information assets.

The network brings together journalists, bloggers, researchers, analysts, photographers, documentary filmmakers, content creators, streamers, investigators, and all other contributors to the global information ecosystem.

Mission

To create a global trust framework for information based on transparency, cryptographic proof of origin, professional ethics, and decentralized governance.

Vision

Every photograph.

Every video.

Every article.

Every investigation.

Every interview.

Every eyewitness account.

Should possess verifiable origin, immutable creation history, and a transparent reputation profile of its creator.

Core Principles

Independence

The organization is not owned or controlled by governments, political parties, corporations, media conglomerates, or private interests.

Transparency

The history of content creation and publication must remain open and verifiable.

Verifiability

Every piece of content must have cryptographic proof of origin.

Accountability

Every participant is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of published information.

Decentralization

Governance is conducted through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

Technological Neutrality

The network embraces innovation and does not restrict the use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Participant Categories

  • Journalists: Reporters, correspondents, editors, and news professionals.
  • Investigators: Investigative journalists, researchers, and OSINT specialists.
  • Creators: Bloggers, podcasters, streamers, influencers, and independent content creators.
  • Visual Contributors: Photographers, videographers, documentary filmmakers, and drone operators.
  • Analysts: Fact-checkers, researchers, and data analysts.
  • AI Creators: Content creators utilizing artificial intelligence tools and workflows.

Digital Identity

Every participant receives a Media Identity Passport.

The passport contains:

  • Identity verification status;
  • Professional category;
  • Publication history;
  • Reputation score;
  • Awards and achievements;
  • Warnings and disciplinary records;
  • Accreditation status.

Reputation System

Reputation is determined by:

  • Accuracy and reliability of published content;
  • Expert review and validation;
  • Community voting and feedback;
  • Number of verified publications;
  • Compliance with ethical standards.

The reputation score is public and transparent.

Content Registration

Every content asset undergoes a deposition and verification process.

The process includes:

  • Creation of a cryptographic hash;
  • Timestamp registration;
  • Author verification;
  • Blockchain registration;
  • Storage of the original file in decentralized storage.

Once registered, the original record becomes immutable.

Licensing

Creators retain ownership of their intellectual property.

Content may be licensed under:

  • Exclusive licenses;
  • Non-exclusive licenses;
  • Commercial licenses;
  • Editorial licenses;
  • Educational licenses.

All licensing agreements are executed through smart contracts.

Artificial Intelligence

The use of artificial intelligence is permitted. However, content is categorized according to its level of AI involvement.

Verified Evidence

Primary evidence and original documentation. AI-generated elements are prohibited.

AI-Assisted Content

AI is used for translation, analysis, editing, or workflow enhancement. Permitted with mandatory disclosure.

AI-Generated Content

Content created primarily by artificial intelligence. Mandatory labeling is required.

Synthetic Media

AI-generated images, audio, and video. Such content cannot be accepted as evidence of real-world events.

Creator Code of Responsibility

Every participant agrees to the Declaration of Responsibility.

I commit to:
  • Not knowingly publish false information;
  • Not fabricate or manipulate evidence;
  • Disclose the use of artificial intelligence;
  • Clearly distinguish facts from opinions;
  • Respect the public's right to reliable information;
  • Maintain transparency regarding sources and methods;
